Living a Slowly Life – Slow Down and Do Less, Slowly

We live today in the most hectic and feverish world. For the most of us each day seems to be a race; a daily race or “rat race”, an exhausting daily routine that leaves you no time for rest and relaxation. What is alarming is that the speed of this race increase from day to day, we become a sort of “speedaholics”. And as if this wouldn’t be enough we borrowed from the PC world the concept of multitasking (running two or more tasks at the same time) and try to implement it in our daily life. We want to do more because, in this era of consumerism, almost all of us are conditioned to want/have more. Rarely we take into account to be more, to think and feel better rather than do and have.

Who are you? What your pig drawing, browser type, fav. drinks, etc. reveal about you!

1. Draw a Pig – tells a whole lot about yourself based on your drawing of a pig. May sound ridiculous but seems to work extremely well. Currently counts over 1.3 mil drawn pigs, with several hundreds of pigs being added hourly. Check out some of the recently added pigs

Websites you should Bookmark…really helpful

If you’re long time makeuseof reader at one point or another you may have seen several of these websites before. We have covered lots of lists and round-ups but this one is quite different: it lists undiscovered webservices that are original, rather unique, unusual, useful, free, and must-be bookmarked type. You won’t find any collaboration, storage or ToDo service here. Enjoy!
